Go Ask Alice is a book about a young girl named Alice and her fight with drug addiction. It talks on her relapses and how her life started going downhill once she started getting addicted.My opinion on this book is that I think it is amazing andI would recommend it. This is because it is not like most books I have read because it is structured like a diary and it is as if Alice is actually writing in it because some dates are missing and holds all her raw emotions and thoughts. I also like this book because it shows the progression of Alice’s life. Like in the beginning of the book she is so happy and full of life but near the end everything shits to her being gloomy and depressed. Anotherreason why I like this book is because it is short and simple but gets straight to the point that addiction takes a toll on one's life and can lead to negative events and situations.
