This is a young adult science fiction novel. It is a very emotional and intriguing novel that grasps your attention and interest with its ability to almost blur the line between fiction and reality. I was very intrigued by its structure of journal entries where a teenage girl living in the future journals her life-changing experience when an asteroid strikes the moon closer to Earth's orbit. The changes she has to endure and how she must adapt to this event get you thinking of real-life occurrences and how we would live through them which I really liked.
