I loved this book because it had historical information, twisted plots, and character bonding. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys learning about the civil war! Sarah Emma Edmonds is one clever protagonist who plays a fake male soldier and a fake confederate civilian. It is a challenge for Sarah Emma Edmonds because she made close friends and allies in the Union Army.
